What is COBRA? Of course it isn’t the snake, it is the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act, and the short form of it is COBRA. This act was passed by the congress at the year 1986 for health benefit provisions. COBRA insurance is introduced for the providing the health insurance policies for employees, like, retirees, spouses and dependent children.
